MAT 124 - Numeracy

This course will cover mathematical ideas and problem-solving skills in the context of science, technology, and/or society. Topics may include logic and critical thinking, Venn diagrams, problem solving, sets, units of measure, percentages and ratios, counting and probability, exponential growth and decay, linear and exponential models. Numeracy is designed to stimulate interest in and appreciation of mathematics and quantitative reasoning as valuable tools for comprehending the world in which we live.

Concurrent: Concurrent registration in MAT 124 Numeracy lab is required
