ITU 101 - Management Information Systems

3 Credit Hours

An examination of the use of information systems to support the management activities of an organization. Topics include: the fundamentals of hardware, software, database management, data communications, transaction processing information systems, decision support systems, information reporting systems, office automation, networks, expert systems, and systems analyses and design. Case studies and several software packages will be utilized to illustrate the principles covered.
